AU clarification: Roxas has mostly had more time to learn about the world around him and is less confused about most basic things humans should know. He was working on being more comfortable about being affectionate with strangers, but he still has a long way to go. He is much closer to Kairi than his canon self since they spent so much time together. The game didn't leave any permanent physical change since the changes only occurred during the world's moons. He's slightly more comfortable using technology, although he prefers to limit it to when he really needs it and still generally distrusts new tech.

Sense of Self: The compelling theme of Roxas' story is his sense of self and struggles with identity. Roxas was created from Sora's heart and serves as Sora's Nobody, the shell that remains when the heart (soul more or less) and body are separated. But because Sora is only without his heart for a very short time, Roxas manages to remain even after Sora's heart is restored. This allows Roxas the ability to develop his own emotions and personality apart from Sora, but his fate is forever connected to Sora.

Roxas starts out much like a zombie with no emotions but forms a sense of self through his interactions and observations of others. He gradually realizes that he is different from other Nobodies and begins to question who and what he is. When he's refused answers from the Organization, he rebels in order to find them for himself.

Roxas eventually learns the truth that he is not supposed to exist and that he is meant to merge with Sora and become whole. He initially refuses, desperate to believe that he's his own person and not wanting to disappear. But when Roxas finds Sora and sees that he's just like him, he allows himself to merge. This acceptance is shaky, however, as he later makes one last attempt to assert himself, challenging Sora within his heart to see if he’s worthy of being them. Sora manages to defeat him, finally winning Roxas over and convincing him to accept his place within him.

After that he seems at peace with being a part of Sora, often referring to Sora as "me." Until Sora surprises him by insisting that Roxas is his own person during a dream encounter. This gives Roxas enough confidence to share his memories with Sora, once more proving that Roxas existed. It's this connection that eventually leads to Sora finding a way to bring Roxas back to existence.

An equally important part of Roxas' ongoing struggles with self is that he actually comes from two different hearts. Sora's heart is shared by Ventus, who looks exactly like Roxas. Roxas has a brief encounter with Ventus in Kingdom Hearts 3, where they exchange a quick look, suggesting Roxas' identity issues are not quite over.

Rebellious nature: He hates being told what to do unless it's by someone he respects. Although he started out obedient, he soon began to question orders he didn't understand and act according to his own feelings. He isn't afraid to take on people who should have authority over him and will fight indiscriminately if he believes he's been wronged, down to being ready to challenge Organization XIII's leader. This rebellious nature can cause him to lash out against his friends if he gets upset, as seen in his harsh dismissal of his best friend, Axel, when he believes Axel is keeping things from him.

Fiery temper: Roxas can be quick to anger when he's frustrated/upset, and this anger manifests in a brutal fashion. He continuously assaults the computer operating a simulated world that once trapped him and even tries to attack the people telling him to return to Sora. When people threaten his friends, he's not afraid to shut them down or go at them. Other people often comment that Roxas should share some of his anger with Sora.

Love for his friends: Friendship probably means more to him than most people because the concept of friendship is the first thing he experiences in his life, having no family. While his understanding of friendship starts out basic, it slowly evolves to the point where he can insist on honesty among friends and later cry over losing Xion. His feelings for his friends are strong enough to affect Sora, causing him to cry over Roxas missing his friends.

Roxas is fiercely protective and loyal to his friends. He challenges people who speak badly about them, as he does when Saix calls Xion a "thing." He hangs onto memories of friends that were only digital representations because those memories are real to him. His love for his friends literally gives him strength. It's his devastation over Axel's death gives him the will to assert himself enough to challenge Sora for his heart, and his need to save his friends that allows him to return to existence in Kingdom Hearts 3.

Curiosity: Because he so recently came into existence, Roxas constantly asks questions about how things work and seeks out perspectives from everyone he talks to. He enjoys exploring strange mysteries, as he does with his Twilight Town friends, and he's willing to take risks to get his answers. Roxas is the character most concerned with understanding what Nobodies actually are.

Under pressure:
Roxas' main motivator will always be the safety and happiness of his friends or even just being able to spend time with them. It's his sole goal for most of his main game, 358/2 Days and Kingdom Hearts 3. The thought of seeing his friends again is always what pulls Roxas through the worst situations, whether it's the tedium of his Organization missions or dealing with the craziness of the digital Twilight Town. This same mentality will likely be applied to whoever Roxas forms a strong connection with in Noctium. It will drive him to fight to protect them or their honor just as it will drive him to generate the manna he needs in order to have the strength to protect them.

That said, Roxas will not simply accept orders unless he can understand them and see some benefit to obeying them. He has significant trust issues from people not telling him the truth of what he was for so long so he will need others to bring him around. While he's unlikely to be violent unless pushed to the edge, he can be very stubborn and loud and dog people for a while.

Curiosity can also be a huge motivator with Roxas. If there is a promise for a greater understanding about something, he is willing to take more risks and do things he wouldn't normally do. Such as when he asks Organization members he doesn't completely trust for information about Axel's disappearance because he has no choice. In Prismatica, curiosity is usually what encouraged Roxas to interact on the network despite his distrusting the technology. He wanted to know more about the topics being discussed there so he could learn more about the world. I see this as continuing to be the case in Noctium.

Abilities:
Keyblade Dual-Wielding: Roxas can summon a keyblade but unlike other keyblade users, he is a dual-wielder (meaning he uses two keyblades at the same time) and basically a powerhouse. His keyblades of choice are Oathkeeper and Oblivion. His intensity when fighting gives him the highest attack modifier in Kingdom Hearts 3 at 20. Roxas has incredible endurance and has shown the ability to quickly regain consciousness after being knocked out in combat.

Light: As a former Nobody, he has the attribute of light and can harness light into devastating attacks. He can glide at super fast speeds and control 13 sword-shaped shields of light energy which connect to form a laser array. He can levitate his keyblades in the air and whirl and spin them rapidly for attacks or defense, even creating a ring of damage just by twirling them in a circle.

Limit Break: The Final Limit causes him to summon pillars of light which fire in all directions. Magic Hour causes Roxas to leap into the air and summon large pillars of light to hammer the battlefield. In the Final Limit, the pillars of light intensify and grow larger.

Magic: He is proficient in the use of all Kingdom Hearts 1 elemental spells (Firaga, Blizzaga, Thundaga, Graviga, Aeroga, Curaga, Stopga) and KH3's Waterga. if he feels like using them.

Physical Abilities: All of Sora's Kingdom Hearts 1 move sets (with the exception of Zantetsuken since that's obtained after Hollow Bastion) and the ability to literally run up buildings.

Dark Corridors: As a Nobody, he can also theoretically still traverse worlds through Dark Corridors, but he won't be able to use them to escape Noctium.

Also, since Roxas and Sora were connected for most of his life, Roxas shares many of Sora's memories until the point Roxas was created toward the end of KH1, most of KH2 and most of KH3. The way I play this is these memories are foggy and unclear, more like bits and pieces, except for places that Roxas is emotionally attached to or memories that had a significant emotional impact on Sora. I have previously received permission from Sora's player to share memories this way. Roxas does not share new memories or memories that will occur within Noctium.

In addition, since most people do not remember Prismatica after leaving, Roxas' specific memories of Prismatica will only be evoked by being around the same people he met in Prismatica or being in a similar situation (such as the crystal plains upon arrival). Otherwise, he will not think much about Prismatica.
